Stefanchuk revealed when work on the mineral agreement with the USA will be activated: project details.

The expert group of the Ukrainian government will begin work on an agreement with the USA regarding the creation of an investment fund for reconstruction and minerals. This was reported by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk in a comment to the NHK publication.
According to 'EP', the preliminarily agreed project document envisages the creation of a commercial fund that will be 100% owned by the USA, but will be jointly managed by both countries. The document is to be signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha and the U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
According to the project, the fund will receive 50% of the revenues from Ukrainian mineral and oil and gas resources for reinvestment in the Ukrainian economy, particularly in extraction, processing infrastructure, and ports. Contributions will continue until the agreed sum is reached by the governments.
Stefanchuk emphasized that Ukraine seeks to obtain specific security guarantees. Regarding Trump's statement about the need for presidential elections, the speaker noted that the legislation prohibits holding them during martial law.
According to him, for the war to end, Russia must not only leave the territory of Ukraine but also pay reparations to the victims.
