The Fear of the Kremlin's Leaders: Russia Conceals Strike on Infrastructure in the Moscow Region, - GUR.
An explosion at a railway hub destroyed Russian infrastructure
On the night of December 27, 2024, a powerful explosion occurred at a railway hub in the city of Voskresensk in the Moscow region, seriously damaging the military-logistical infrastructure of the Russian occupation forces. According to a report from the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, the explosion resulted in the destruction of rolling stock used to support the Russian occupation forces.
Authorities are currently assessing the scale of the damage inflicted on the aggressor, but it is already clear that this incident could significantly impact the supply system of Russian military formations.
Notably, Russian state information resources have launched a large-scale disinformation campaign aimed at concealing the real consequences of the incident. In particular, deliberately false information is being spread regarding the absence of fire at the Voskresensk railway depot.
The nature and intensity of the propaganda efforts indicate a growing concern among the higher leadership of the Russian Federation regarding the activation of internal resistance and potential destabilization of the situation within the country.
