Ukraine has become the first victim of an intercontinental missile attack, reported the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a historical precedent that demonstrates Russia's aggressive behavior. In the StratCom of the Armed Forces, it was stated that Ukraine will do everything to ensure that Russians are remembered in history only for their crimes.

The attack occurred early in the morning on November 21, when Russian troops launched an intercontinental ballistic missile at Dnipro. According to 'Ukrainian Truth', the missile was the medium-range RS-26 'Rubezh', which can fly from 2000 to 6000 kilometers. It should be noted that the United States considers this type of missile to fall under the restrictions of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty. Preliminary reports indicated that the embassies of the United States, Spain, Italy, and Greece were warned about the possibility of a massive strike and temporarily suspended the work of their diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the situation, emphasizing that Russia has once again demonstrated its aggression and disrespect for the dignity and freedom of people. He also expressed his belief that Putin is using Ukraine as a testing ground for new weapons. Zelensky stressed that Ukraine has the right to independence and a dignified life, and Russia will not force it to submit.

Industrial facilities in Dnipro became the target of the attack. The Dnipropetrovsk regional administration confirmed damage to one of the industrial enterprises.
