Shootings in Lviv and Khmelnytskyi

According to TSN.ua: A man was wounded in a shooting in Lviv's Shevchenkivskyi district. The incident occurred on Haidamatska Street following a dispute between two men. One of the individuals fired several shots from a non-lethal firearm at his opponent, resulting in injuries.

The victim was promptly hospitalized. Police are currently taking measures to apprehend the shooter.

Khmelnytskyi Incident

In a separate incident in Khmelnytskyi, an intoxicated man opened fire from a ninth-floor balcony, discharging approximately 90 rounds from an automatic weapon. Police conducted a special operation and detained the shooter, who was identified as a military serviceman. Law enforcement has initiated criminal proceedings under the article for hooliganism with the use of a weapon. The suspect faces up to 7 years of imprisonment.

These incidents highlight ongoing concerns regarding violence and the use of firearms in Ukraine. While Ukrainian police have been active in responding to such threats to public safety, these events underscore the challenges that persist.
