Subsidies for families with children and internally displaced persons: a number of restrictions have been lifted in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian government has amended the Regulations on the appointment of housing subsidies to simplify the process of obtaining assistance for the most vulnerable segments of the population. Now, family-type children's homes, foster families, and large families will not be an obstacle to receiving subsidies due to various properties and expenses.
Special attention to children
Particular attention has been paid to supporting the basic needs of children. Expenses for clothing, food, household and computer equipment will no longer hinder the receiving of subsidies. The limit on the level of debt for utility payments for the specified categories of citizens has also been significantly increased, allowing more families to take advantage of this support. The changes will also simplify administrative procedures for large guardianship families, allowing the unification of several family-type children's homes under one address.
