The court in the NABU detective case was evacuated due to a bomb threat.
According to ТСН: Today, the Kyiv Appeal Court asked everyone to leave the building due to information about a bomb threat.
At 12:30, the court was scheduled to hear an appeal regarding the detention of NABU detective Ruslan Maghamedrasulov, who is documenting the activities of businessman Timur Mindich.
On July 21, Maghamedrasulov and his father were detained by the SBU in a case related to alleged intentions to sell technical hemp in Dagestan. The investigation claims that he discussed the possibility of selling this product, including to Uzbekistan, as indicated by witnesses.
Representatives of public organizations and protesters demanding Maghamedrasulov's release were expected to come to court.
The Anti-Corruption Center noted that the information about the bomb threat raises doubts about its true purpose. This may indicate attempts to disrupt the proceedings and influence the course of the investigation.
Earlier, NABU reported that Ruslan Maghamedrasulov was actively involved in exposing a large corruption scheme in the state company 'Energoatom'.
This situation indicates how complex and risky investigations into corruption cases can be in Ukraine, as they involve not only law enforcement agencies but also mass public protests. The escalating tension surrounding Maghamedrasulov's case highlights the importance of his work and the possible consequences for all participants in the process.
