Deputy Minister of Energy Oleksandr Khail has been detained with a bail set at 25 million UAH. This decision was made by the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court Natalia Movchan.

The duration of the order is until October 8, 2024. If bail is posted, the Deputy Minister of Energy will have certain obligations.

In particular:

• surrender foreign passports;
• wear an electronic bracelet;
• not communicate with witnesses and other suspects.

Recall that today, August 12, the Security Service and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, with the assistance of the Minister of Energy, uncovered a large-scale corruption scheme organized by his deputy.
