Search lasted three days: a 5-year-old boy found in Prykarpattia.
In the simple forest areas of the Kolomyia district, our search and rescue team nearly opened a new profession - child finder! For three days, little Kyrylo wandered in the vastness of the forest, but thanks to united efforts, he managed to return home. Rescuers from Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Khmelnytsky, cadets of the state life safety university in Lviv, police officers, and even volunteers - all contributed strength and knowledge to find the boy. The little hero survived to create a new adventure for his peers!

At the scene, an interagency headquarters was established to coordinate search and rescue operations. Rescuers surveyed 5,500 hectares of terrain and additionally examined 8,902 hectares using drones. Divers conducted surveys of 12 water bodies covering 7,700 sq.m and 155 hectares of the coastal area.

In Odesa, on June 18, seven-year-old Solomiia Tarasiuk went missing. The following day, information emerged that the whereabouts of the girl had been established, but she was found dead. A 31-year-old local resident was detained on suspicion of murdering Solomiia Tarasiuk.
As a result of prolonged rescue operations, the lost boy Kyrylo was found alive in the forest. This successful rescue operation was made possible by the joint efforts of rescuers from various regions of Ukraine and the quick response of the Special Aviation Unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
