How to Save at Asda
Buy Budget Range Products
Smart shopper Elish Stat-Kerns recommends choosing products from Asda's Just Essentials range.
She noted: “Asda's budget range is easy to spot, as it is bright yellow! Look for yellow, and you will find their Just Essentials range.”
“This provides great value for money, and in my opinion, there is a much larger selection of budget items here compared to other supermarkets.”
Sign Up for Asda Rewards
It is also important to register for Asda's loyalty program.
Elish mentioned: “Asda Rewards is free to join, and if you shop at Asda, make sure to sign up.”
“As a member of Asda Rewards, you get exclusive discounts and promotions, and you can earn 10% cashback on Star Products.”
“This is credited directly to your cashpot, and once you earn at least £1, you can transfer money from your cashpot into Asda vouchers.”
Look for Alcohol Deals
Elish advises shoppers who buy alcohol to pay attention to great deals.
“Asda often has a deal on alcohol: buy six bottles, and you save 25%,” she said.
“The offer includes selected bottles of red, white, rosé, as well as Prosecco. Usually, many popular bottles are included in the deal, such as Oyster Bay Hawkes Bay Merlot and Freixenet Prosecco D.O.C.”
“Of course, the more expensive bottles you choose, the more you save.”
Join Facebook Groups
Smart spending also advises Asda fans to join Facebook groups to stay updated on the latest store promotions.
Elish pointed out: “I recommend joining the Latest Deals group on Facebook to find out about new deals and store releases.”
“Every day, over 250,000 bargain hunters share their finds and new store releases.”
“For example, a group member recently shared a picture of the new Barbie line from Asda that was spotted in a store.”
“Another member showed off the great plants for outdoors that he bought, including roses for 47 pence, currant bushes for 14 pence, and topiary trees for 14 pence.”
