The European Union has decided to extend temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens until 2027 due to the worsening situation in Ukraine caused by Russia's aggression. This was announced by the European Commissioner for Migration Magnus Brunner and Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov.
According to the European Commission, the decision to extend temporary protection is related to the increase in illegal attacks by Russia and the unstable situation in Ukraine.
The European Union supports the integration of Ukrainians into the countries of the European Union through various programs that help them successfully adapt to new conditions. Some countries, such as Latvia and the Czech Republic, are already providing assistance to Ukrainian migrants, facilitating their integration into European societies.
