Ukraine is again asking its allies to allow strikes with its weapons on military targets in Russia. Many European countries and Canada have already agreed to this. The presidents of Ukraine and the USA plan to discuss this issue by the end of September. According to political analyst Volodymyr Fesenko, the decision may be made step by step. Russia has concerns about announcing this decision officially. Volodymyr Fesenko emphasizes the importance of mutual respect with partners, as violating commitments could lead to a loss of trust in Ukraine. Currently, Western countries are testing Russia's response and gradually making decisions on the use of weapons. The resumption of nuclear tests by Russia in response to the use of Western missiles is being discussed.

"In Russia, they talk a lot about the fact that first, supposedly, Ukraine will strike, and then it will be announced. In fact, what's the catch? To effectively use not only American but also British Storm Shadow missiles on targets in the Russian Federation, interaction with the American satellite system is necessary. That is, you can't do it unilaterally, we won't do it ourselves either. Interaction with partners, including the Americans, is necessary here," Fesenko noted.
"If we violate any commitments to our partners, we simply won't be given such weapons next Time. This also needs to be understood. I still lean more towards the fact that it will be stated in general terms about the possibility of use in a larger range, with a greater radius of American and British long-range missiles. Such a statement should be made, but it may be done in general terms," Fesenko said.

According to Volodymyr Fesenko, the decision on the use of Western missiles will be made in stages, taking into account Russia's reaction. There is a possibility that Russia will resume nuclear tests in response to this.

"This is a problem and challenge not only for the West but also for China. Yes, and in general, this may now change the deterrence regime for nuclear weapons development. Therefore, this is actually a very risky step, and the boomerang may come back not in favor of Russia. So I think they are scaring, but the real reactions will be quite restrained," Fesenko concluded.
