Taiwan sets date to prepare for WAR with China that could spiral into WW3 – and it’s perilously close.
Threat from Taiwan
According to The Sun: Taiwan has issued a clear warning to Beijing, stating its readiness for an all-out war within the next two years. This comes amid escalating threats from China regarding the takeover of the island.
President Lai Ching-te announced plans to increase defense spending by £30.6 billion. This will enable a 'high level' of joint combat readiness to confront China by 2027.
Lai Ching-te noted that decisive action is needed in response to the growing aggression from China.
According to the president, these measures are necessary to ensure Taiwan's security and maintain peace in the region.
The increase in defense spending indicates the seriousness of Taiwan's intentions to defend its territory and sovereignty. The actions of President Lai Ching-te demonstrate the island's readiness to act in response to potential threats that could lead to an escalation of conflict in the region.
