State Investigations and Warnings
Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko suspects a possible connection of the attack to Russia. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned about the seriousness of the situation and the danger of further terrorist acts. The city of Lviv had previously been considered a relatively safe place in the context of the war.
'A complex situation. The other injured have lighter wounds,' explained Ivan Sinkevych regarding the consequences of the detonations.
According to his statements, 'the damage is very great. The second explosion was extremely intense.' Danylyshyna Street remains closed to traffic, and investigations into the planning and execution of the attack are ongoing. The population is urged to exercise caution and pay attention to official reports, as the security situation is tense. The assumption of possible Russian involvement underscores the ongoing dangers for Ukraine that extend beyond the front line.
