According to UATV: On July 13, Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces carried out an unprecedented operation, successfully deploying a ground robotic system to the Kinburn Spit—a territory still under Russian occupation. This marked the first known instance of such a delivery in military history.

Soldiers from the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade executed the mission. The Kinburn Spit, part of Mykolaiv Oblast, holds significant strategic value, and this action underscores the Ukrainian military’s active efforts in the region. According to Territorial Defense officials,

“a maritime unmanned system landed an unmanned ground vehicle with a combat module on the shore. Fire missions were conducted. Unmanned aerial systems provided reconnaissance and support.”
