Unique airport in Europe celebrates 25 years: an ice rink has been created right in the terminal.

Munich Airport, one of the few in Europe with its own ice rink, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. This 600 square meter rink will open this week. In addition to ice skating, families will be able to book curling lessons, as well as attend new workshops, such as decorating Christmas ornaments.

“We are very pleased to welcome all visitors to the 25th anniversary of our ice rink,” the organizers noted.

“This is a great place for relaxation and entertainment that delights both children and adults,” they added.
