Kyiv Hosts 'Path to Freedom' Forum
According to UATV: On March 25, 2023, the 'Path to Freedom' forum convened in Kyiv, bringing together members of the Belarusian opposition and volunteers from the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment. The central focus of the event was collaboration between Belarusian democratic forces and Ukraine in opposing the regimes of Lukashenka and Putin. Participants tackled critical issues such as sanctions, international coordination, and support for Belarusian democratic movements.
Attendees included representatives from the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, among them its leader, Sviatlana Tihanovskaya. She declared plans to establish a Mission of Belarusian Democratic Forces in Ukraine. Other notable participants included Ihor Kyzym, Alisa Ryzhachenko, and Ilya Kvas.

The forum addressed strategies for pressuring the Lukashenka regime and adopted a resolution labeling it a threat to regional security in Eastern Europe.
'We must consider the positions of major players,' — Ilya Kvasemphasized, highlighting the need for international backing. Alisa Ryzhachenko added: 'It is crucial that representatives of democratic Belarus and Ukraine work together.' Notably, Belarusian democratic forces already have offices in Brussels, Estonia, the Czech Republic, and Italy, signaling a ramp-up in international engagement.

The 'Path to Freedom' forum marked a significant step in strengthening ties between Belarusian democratic forces and Ukraine.
