According to ТСН: US President Donald Trump announced that during the meeting with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, significant progress had been made towards ending the war.
This information was shared at a joint press conference following the conclusion of the negotiations.
"We covered, some would say, 95%, I don't know what the exact percentage is, but we have made significant progress in stopping this war," Trump said.
He also noted that various topics were discussed, "on all topics".
Discussions with European leaders
Trump emphasized that after his conversation with Zelensky, he also met with European leaders, including the presidents of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Finland, Poland, and Norway, as well as representatives of the European Union.
"Before this, I spoke with President Putin and we discussed many details today in depth," he added.
In conclusion, Trump stressed that before the talks with Zelensky, he expressed hope that a quick end to the war might be possible.
