The sappers of the State Special Transport Service cleared a large area of explosive objects
During the week, sappers of the State Special Transport Service checked and cleared an area from explosive objects that has the same area as the city of Kalush in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
'From January 5 to 12, the demining groups of the State Special Transport Service discovered, removed, and neutralized 1557 explosive objects. They demined and inspected an area of a total of 2767.18 hectares. The most explosive objects were removed in the Kherson region - 1159', it is noted in the report.
It was noted that since the beginning of Russian aggression, the units of the State Special Transport Service discovered, removed and neutralized 210299 explosive objects.
Currently, an area of 182331.67 hectares has been cleared (inspected):
- Roads – 1059.86 km
- Water areas – 25.78 ha
- Railways – 2736.21 km
- Power lines – 517.50 km
- Gas pipelines – 82.06 km
- Residential areas – 380.72 ha
- Forests – 466.75 ha
