Trilateral Peace Talks to Be Held in Geneva

According to TSN.ua: A trilateral meeting involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia has been scheduled for February 17-18 in Geneva. The date and location were confirmed by Dmytro Litvin, an advisor to the Ukrainian president on communications. The head of the Russian delegation for these talks will be Vladimir Medinsky.

These discussions represent a continuation of an active diplomatic dialogue focused on the situation in Ukraine. The two most recent rounds of talks at the United Nations took place on January 23-24 and February 4-5. Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had stated that Ukrainian-Russian negotiations would occur on February 17-18 in the United States.

Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the meeting will indeed take place on the specified dates in Geneva. President Zelenskyy also remarked,

"This was a proposal from the United States, and I accepted it."
