According to the magazine 'Tourist Project', 62 million 269.89 thousand foreign tourists arrived in the Republic of Turkey last year, which is 9.8% more than in 2023.
Tourism brought Turkey an income of $61.1 billion in 2024, which is almost 8.3% more than in the previous year. On average, tourists arriving in Turkey stayed here for 10.7 days and spent $972 per person.
Among foreign real estate buyers in Turkey, Ukrainians rank third according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) for the results of 2024. Ukrainians purchased 1631 real estate properties.
At the same time, 17% of hotels in Turkey are planned to be closed. Istanbul and popular resorts will be the most affected.
