Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that he is ready to support any initiative for organizing peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. This statement was made during a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
'Turkey consistently monitors the fair and peaceful resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and closely observes the latest contacts between the parties in Alaska and Washington. Turkey is ready to intervene in peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine,' the President of Turkey emphasized.
Let us remind you that information had previously come from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that negotiations with Putin could take place in one of the European countries - Switzerland, Austria, or Turkey.
