Paris approves peace plan for Ukraine: what is known about the 20 points of the agreement

According to ТСН: At the "Coalition of the Willing" meeting in Paris, a common European-American position on peace agreements will be approved.

This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a briefing before his departure to France.

It is expected that the signing of the so-called Paris agreements will take place in the coming days in Washington.

Tusk noted that the starting point for negotiations will be the 20 points of the peace agreement, as well as documents outlining cooperation between European countries and the USA in the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war.

"However, do not expect final decisions in Paris. It is possible that the signing of documents which will finally confirm the common American-European position will indeed take place in the coming days, possibly in Washington, although this issue remains open," emphasized Tusk.

Meeting in Paris

Today, Ukraine's allies will gather in Paris for the "Coalition of the Willing" meeting. The event will involve 35 individuals, including 27 heads of state and government. The USA will be represented by President Donald Trump's envoys - Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who was supposed to head the delegation, changed his plans due to events in Venezuela.

European officials reported that in the event of a ceasefire, the number of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine could range from 15,000 to 20,000. Currently, no military plans have been disclosed; however, it is known that the main part of the forces will be provided by France and the United Kingdom, which will be responsible for the ground and air components.

This meeting is an important part of international efforts to stabilize the situation in Ukraine. The signing of the Paris agreements will be a significant step in forming a new security architecture in the region, aimed not only at achieving peace but also at restoring Ukraine after the war. Developments in Washington will become increasingly important for further steps in this area.
