Two police officers shot in Australia: shooter fled and is on the run.
According to The Sun: On Tuesday afternoon, Victoria's police officers fell victim to an attack in the rural territory of the island nation. Two of them were killed, and a third was injured. The Australian police are searching for the attacker, who identified himself as a 'sovereign citizen.'
According to reports, the man who carried out the attack is part of a marginal movement that rejects the country's laws and government. Although such 'sovereign citizens' were previously considered safe, their activity has recently gained momentum and poses a serious threat to public safety.
Politicians and public figures expressed condolences to the heroes who stood firm in the face of danger and support the police services in their operation to apprehend the criminal.
