In most regions of Ukraine – air raid alert, air defense is operational in Kyiv region.

In Kyiv and in most regions of Ukraine, an air raid alert was announced in the afternoon of November 24 due to the movement of strike drones (UAVs). This information was provided by the Ukrainian Air Force.

• Drones were observed in the northern part of Kyiv region heading west.
• Drones were spotted in the Borispol area heading west.
• Drones were detected in the eastern part of Kyiv region heading west.
• Strike drones were seen in the southern part of Chernihiv region heading west.
• Drones are being observed towards Kryvyi Rih from the north.
• In Donetsk region, launches of guided aviation bombs by tactical aviation were conducted.

Movement of hostile drones has been recorded in Kyiv region, and as a result, air defense forces have become active in the region. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

Residents of the region are urged not to photograph or film the work of our defenders.

«Do not violate safety rules. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over», the agency emphasizes.

All clear of air raid alert

We remind you that during the night, air defense forces destroyed more than 10 hostile drones threatening the capital. The incident resulted in no casualties.

In Kyiv and in several regions of Ukraine, the air raid alert was called off on November 24 at 06:28, which was provoked by a potential threat of hostile drones. 

Additionally, during the air raid alert in the morning of November 24, sounds of explosions were heard in Kyiv, indicating active operations of air defense forces.

Also, Russia early today spotted six ships in the Crimean Peninsula that are on combat duty. Three of these ships are carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the «Kalibr» type.

It was previously reported that Russian troops struck Dnipro with a medium-range ballistic missile called «Oreshnik» on November 21. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
