British Defense Minister John Healey stated that it is still too early to talk about the possible support of an international peacekeeping contingent for Ukraine from the United Kingdom. He compared it to standing a long way from our current position.

'The issue of operations far exceeds the pressure we are currently facing,' Healey said in response to a question about whether London would support the deployment of international military forces to Ukraine, even if the UK itself would not participate in military actions.

'The main topic of my conversation with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov was the military assistance we provide and will continue to provide, coordination with other international allies that the UK can enhance, as well as long-term plans,' Healey reported.

'We will always try to respond collectively to Ukraine's urgent needs, plan together, and stand with you shoulder to shoulder,' emphasized the defense minister.
