In Europe, advice was given to Ukraine regarding the fight against corruption.

The European Commission notes that Ukraine has made certain progress in the fight against corruption and recommends improving investigations of corruption cases at the highest level next year. This is reflected in the conclusions and recommendations of the European Commission, which were published as part of the annual "Enlargement Package".
The document also notes that Ukraine has achieved progress through the strengthening of anti-corruption institutions and gaining experience in investigating high-level corruption cases. In particular, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption are mentioned as examples of increased independence and effectiveness.
The European Commission recommends that Ukraine continue efforts to improve the outcomes of investigations into high-level corruption cases, specifically to arrest and confiscate criminal assets. It is also proposed to increase the number of judges in the High Anti-Corruption Court, enhance the capabilities of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau in conducting forensic examinations and independent telephone tapping, and quickly complete the deployment of the electronic case management system for anti-corruption bodies.
