The GUR assessed whether Russia will strike Ukraine with the 'Oreshnik' during the New Year holidays.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has responded to reports about the possibility of Russia using new types of weapons, including the 'Oreshnik' missile, during the New Year holidays. GUR representative Andriy Chernyak emphasized that Russia has already used all available types of weapons against Ukraine. He also urged to respond to air raid signals and to take shelter.
Russia does not conduct war honestly and does not adhere to international legislation.
The intelligence representative warned that Russia will continue mass missile and drone attacks during the Christmas and New Year holidays and before Donald Trump's inauguration. He noted that this indicates Russia's attempts to preserve its military-industrial complex and demonstrate its strength. According to Chernyak, this could be the beginning of the end of Putin's rule. Earlier, there were reports about an information campaign by the Russian Federation regarding the 'Oreshnik' missile.
