The Kharkiv court considered the case of a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who hit a policewoman during a conflict on the bus. The man did not want to leave the vehicle and began to swear and fight. He was found guilty of threatening and violence against a police officer.
According to the court's decision, at one of the final stops of public transport in Kharkiv, the patrol officers noticed a serviceman on the bus and asked him to exit. However, the man refused and began to behave aggressively, threatening violence against the policeman. After that, he struck the inspector in the face, which resulted in bodily harm.

He then struck the inspector in the face area, as a result of which she received injuries that belong to the category of minor severity, - stated in the court's verdict.
Court's decision
The court decided that the serviceman was guilty of threatening and violence against a law enforcement officer and sentenced him to three years of imprisonment. The man had previously had problems with the law, and his previous sentence only reinforced this court's decision.
As a result of the conflict on the bus, the Armed Forces soldier, who refused to leave the vehicle and attacked the policewoman, was sentenced to a long-term imprisonment for threatening and violence against the law enforcement officer. The Kyiv resident had earlier faced legal issues, so this verdict served as an additional punishment for breaking the law.
