The roof of one of the National Bank buildings in Kyiv was on fire due to the debris of a Shahed drone.
A fire broke out on the roof of the National Bank of Ukraine in the Pechersk district after debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell. This was reported by the NBU press service. The fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no casualties.
After the UAV fell, windows on the upper floors were damaged, but all operational systems and services of the bank continue to function as usual.
The management and staff of the NBU are ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the bank according to established protocols.
It should be noted that Russian occupiers continue to terrorize Ukraine by sending unmanned aerial vehicles into its territory. In particular, from the night of December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025, the occupiers launched 111 Shahed-type UAVs and other drones. This attack was carried out from various directions, including Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Crimea.
