Kyiv accelerates payments under the eRecovery program: when will victims receive compensation.
Kyiv plans to accelerate payments under the eRecovery program for residents affected by Russian strikes. This news was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, on August 8.
Timur Tkachенко: 'In the areas that have suffered the most damage, many residents' applications remain unprocessed. There are objective reasons for this, as there is a shortage of specialists for housing inspections and processing of already submitted applications. However, this does not change the fact that people need help as soon as possible.'
Tkachенко held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Community Development and Territories regarding compensation payments to residents of affected buildings. He instructed the heads of the District State Administrations to expedite the processing of applications.
The main official also appealed to residents of Kyiv who are awaiting payments. He emphasized that all specialists are working within their capabilities, but human resources are limited.
New model for property recovery
Recently, the government approved a new model that will simplify the recovery of apartment buildings and dormitories after Russian strikes. This involves significantly simplifying bureaucratic procedures and the ability to act in parallel rather than sequentially, as was previously the case.
The eRecovery program continues to operate even during active hostilities when physical inspections become impossible, and the fact of property destruction is confirmed by remote methods.
