Fire in Kyiv on Shuliavska: flames engulfed balconies up to the seventh floor.
According to ТСН: A large-scale fire broke out in Kyiv, with numerous videos showing thick gray smoke over residential areas appearing on social media. The blaze occurred in a high-rise building on Shuliavska street.
Fire Details
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine confirmed that the fire ignited in an apartment on the fourth floor.
“The fire broke out on the fourth floor, spreading flames through balconies to the seventh floor. Rescuers are already working on site. The extinguishing of the fire is underway,” the capital's SES reported.
Currently, there is no information about casualties or injuries.
Fire in the Solomianskyi District
Recently, a fire also broke out in the Solomianskyi district, where a three-story warehouse caught fire.
“The area of the fire is 800 square meters. The third floor and the roof of the building are on fire. The fire extinguishing is ongoing. Ten pieces of equipment and 40 rescuers are involved. Initially, there are no casualties,” the capital's SES reported.
At the moment, rescuers continue to fight the flames, and the situation remains under control. Authorities urge citizens to adhere to safety rules during emergency situations and to be cautious. Both fire incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of preparedness for critical situations in cities.
