An air alert was declared in Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine on the afternoon of November 24 due to the movement of strike drones. This information was provided by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Drones in the northern part of Kyiv region are moving westward.
- Drones in the Borispil area are moving westward.
- Drones in the eastern part of Kyiv region are moving westward.
- Drones in the southern part of Chernihiv region are moving westward.
- Drones are moving towards Kryvyi Rih from the north.
- Tactical aviation is launching guided aerial bombs in Donetsk region.
Movement of enemy drones has been recorded in Kyiv region. Air defense forces are operating in the area, urging residents not to photograph or film the work of our defenders. The agency emphasized: 'Do not neglect safety rules. Stay in shelters until the air alert is over.'
At 15:54 an all-clear was announced in Kyiv, but after 25 minutes, the sirens began to sound again.
At 16:38 all-clears began to be announced in the capital and other regions.
Situation is under review
Let us remind you that last night the air defense forces shot down over 10 enemy drones that threatened the capital. This was accomplished without casualties. At 06:28 on November 24 the air alert in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine was lifted due to the threat of enemy drones.
In the morning of the same day, during the air alert in Kyiv, the sounds of explosions could be heard, indicating the operation of air defense.
Threat from the sea
This morning, the Russian Federation has deployed six ships on combat duty in the Black Sea waters. Three of them are carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the 'Kalibr' type.
Earlier, it was reported that on November 21, Russian troops struck Dnipro with a medium-range ballistic missile named 'Oreshnik'. This was stated by Vladimir Putin.
