An air alert has been lifted in Kyiv and regions
In Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine, an air alert was declared due to the presence of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMVA). The alert lasted for several minutes.
'Immediately proceed to a safe location!', the KCMVA message stated.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported a threat from enemy strike UAVs in Poltava and Cherkasy regions.
This is already the second air alert during the night.
During the alert in Kyiv, sounds of explosions could be heard. The air defense (PPO) was operational to destroy enemy drones.
During this night attack by Russian UAVs on Kyiv, debris from downed drones fell in the Dniprovskyi district of the city, causing damage to a building. Two people were injured.
Reports of enemy drones movements were noted:
- A drone in the southern Kyiv region was heading towards Zhytomyr;
- A drone between the Poltava, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions was heading towards Kyiv;
- A drone at the border of Cherkasy and Kyiv regions was heading northwest;
- A drone from Kirovohrad region to Cherkasy was heading north;
- A drone in the vicinity of Sharhorod (Vinnytsia) was heading northwest (Khmelnytskyi);
- A drone in the area of Pervomaisk was heading to Vinnytsia;
- A drone in Vinnytsia region between Khmilnyk and Kalynivka was heading towards Zhytomyr (Berdiansk).
