Official Christmas Tree Markets Open in Kyiv: Address List by Districts.
Official Christmas tree markets will start operating in Kyiv from December 5, announced the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the KCSA. Here, residents can buy New Year trees and pines grown in local forestry enterprises. Sales will continue until the end of December and will be available throughout the city.
Volodymyr Kostykov, the director of the Department, emphasized the importance of purchasing trees at official markets. He noted that this choice guarantees quality festive trees and contributes to the city budget through tax payments.
'We invite Kyiv residents to visit the official markets and choose a festive tree that will fill your home with joy and warmth during the New Year days,' Kostykov stated.
Official Christmas tree sites will be located in various districts of Kyiv. The sales will be handled by municipal enterprises belonging to the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development.
Buying trees at official markets is an important step not only for the transparency of the process but also for preserving natural resources and combating illegal logging, added Kostykov.
