Kyiv's electric transport halted due to RF attacks: buses launched.
According to ТСН: Due to the unstable situation in the energy system, electric transport on both the left and right banks of Kyiv has temporarily stopped operating.
This was reported by 'Kyivpastrans' on Telegram.
The municipal enterprise 'Kyivpastrans' is introducing alternative bus routes.
'In particular, due to the temporary suspension of the Borshchahivka rapid tram due to lack of voltage, bus service has already been organized on route 3t 'Staro-Vokzalna St. - Ring Road', the message says.
Further changes in transport movement will be announced additionally.
It should be noted that Russia has been shelling Kyiv for the second night in a row. During the night of January 10, explosions were heard in the city, and air defense worked successfully against enemy drones. The enemy took advantage of the low temperature to attack the capital's infrastructure. Russians deliberately targeted heating plants in Kyiv. In some areas of the city, there were power outages and disruptions in water supply due to damage to substations, lines, and generation facilities.
The halt of electric transport in Kyiv, linked to military actions, emphasizes the difficult situation in the energy sector. The city is taking measures to ensure transport accessibility; however, challenges persist. The government and local authorities continue to work on restoring infrastructure and stabilizing the situation in the energy system.
