What preceded

On August 5, Russian troops struck a part of the multi-storey building in Kupiansk.

'Local residents reported that there were people in the basement of the building at the moment of the strike who had taken shelter from the constant shelling.'

It is assumed that at least three people may be under the rubble, but due to the threat of new attacks, rescuers cannot start searches.

Due to continuous shelling, rescuers have not been able to reach the scene of the tragedy for six days and begin rescue operations.

We remind you that on August 9, Russia launched a strike on a furniture store in Kharkiv. The drone attack resulted in injuries in the city.

Additionally, on July 5, Russian troops conducted a large-scale shelling of Lozova in the Kharkiv region, which led to damage to residential buildings, injured citizens, and power outages in parts of the city.

As a result of the airstrike by Russian troops on a residential building in Kupiansk, people remain under the rubble. Rescue operations are complicated by the circumstances at the scene and the threat of repeated shelling.
