According to Espreso.tv: During the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's Constitution, a bust of Ivan Mazepa was unveiled on the grounds of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, which is marking 975 years since its founding. President Volodymyr Zelensky, present at the ceremony, announced plans to introduce a bill on the Ukrainian National Pantheon to parliament and to begin preparations for the Lavra's millennium, set to occur in 25 years.

Speaking at the unveiling, Volodymyr Zelensky stated:

'Today we are correcting another historical injustice, and from now on, here at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a bust of the great Ukrainian and patron of the Lavra, Ivan Mazepa, will rightfully stand.' Volodymyr Zelensky
