Murder of the Former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada
On August 30, former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada (2016-2019) Andriy Parubiy was killed in Lviv. The details of the tragedy were reported to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko and Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka. This information was disclosed by the head of state on Telegram, as reported by FREEДОМ.
'Andriy Parubiy has died. My condolences to his family and loved ones,' - Zelensky wrote.
According to his words, all necessary forces and means are involved in the investigation and search for the murderer.
Commemoration of the Fallen
President Volodymyr Zelensky also honored the memory of those killed during the Russian strike on a five-story building in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv.
