The idea for the restoration was proposed by Tetiana Balakova, who explained that the cost of the project was about 50 thousand hryvnias. The work was carried out by master Yuriy Mykolaishyn, who cleaned the letters of dirt, preserved them, and applied a protective coating against corrosion.

'The letters were cleaned with a chemical solution, polished, preserved with restoration oil, and the edges were painted for protection against corrosion,' said Balakova.

Artist Yaryna Korotkevych noted that this is not the first assembled sign in Lviv. The project has been functioning for over a year, and among the already restored are the signs 'Electrical Goods' on Levitsky Street, 'Young Technician,' and others. A list of objects for further preservation is also being prepared.
