Israel sharply condemned Russia's strikes on Kyiv: what Minister Saar said.
On the night of Thursday, August 1, Russian forces struck Kyiv. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar sharply condemned the Russian shelling of the capital of Ukraine, which caused numerous casualties among the civilian population.
He wrote about this on social media X.
'I condemn the Russian strikes on residential areas of Kyiv, which led to enormous and tragic human casualties', Saar wrote. He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.
He also reported that he had communicated with the secretary of the Israeli ambassador in Ukraine, whose house was damaged as a result of the attack. Saar emphasized the necessity of achieving lasting peace that would ensure security for Ukraine.
