Provocateurs identified at Pochaiv Lavra: what's known about the searches.
According to inkorr.com: The National Police has identified those who obstructed the searches at the Pochaiv Lavra in Ternopil region. National police spokesperson Yuliya Hirdviliis reported this, referencing information from '5 Channel'.
Investigators are cooperating with the provocateurs. An additional criminal proceeding has been opened under Article 345 - threats or violence against a law enforcement officer.
Details of the Incident
Director of the reserve Vasyl Ilchyshyn also spoke about the provocations that occurred during the searches at the Pochaiv Lavra. He noted that there were also teenagers among the participants. The searches were conducted in connection with the search for documents confirming the illegal appropriation of the UOC Moscow Patriarchate church building - an important historical monument. The police are investigating the circumstances of the event and have already opened a criminal proceeding.
During the searches, individuals were found who attempted to hinder law enforcement officers from fulfilling their duties. The incident with the provocateurs, among whom were also teenagers, requires special attention from the police. The opened criminal proceeding confirms the seriousness of the situation, and the investigation is ongoing.
