In Poland, a shell damaged a residential building during military exercises.
During joint military exercises with Romania at a training ground in Poland, an unfortunate incident occurred. During shooting, a projectile ricocheted and hit a residential building nearby. Fortunately, no one was injured. The military gendarmerie is conducting an investigation, and all damages will be compensated.
Press officer Malgorzata Misiukiewicz stated that this incident happened during nighttime firing exercises, and a bullet from the Romanian unit hit the house. Fortunately, no one was in the house at the time.
The mayor of the city and the military police, who are investigating the incident, arrived at the scene. All damages will be compensated by the army.
The Bulgarian government approved the participation of its military personnel in the NATO mission for training and assisting Ukraine in the security sector (NSATU). Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, also decided to include the study of international humanitarian law norms in the training course. This concerns the rights of armed conflicts.
