Today, August 25, sirens sounded across Poland in memory of two firefighters who died while extinguishing a fire and explosion in Poznan. The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, emphasizing their professionalism and dedication to service. This was reported by RMF 24.
«Our 34-year-old colleague with 12 years of service died. The 33-year-old colleague with 11 years of service left two children orphaned. This is a tragedy for all of us. These firefighters gave their lives to try to save others», – he said.
At 18:00 local time, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and border guards simultaneously activated the sirens on their service vehicles, paying tribute to their colleagues.
Recall that Polish tanks are fighting on the battlefield in Russia.
