U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham to Ayatollah Khamenei: 'Donald Trump Will Destroy You'.
According to ТСН: U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham warned Iran's leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei about further suppressing protesters in the country.
In his speech on Fox News, Graham emphasized that 'the greatest president of all time' Donald Trump has the power to destroy 'the ayatollah's Nazi regime,' citing events in Venezuela and the fall of Nicolás Maduro's regime as examples. The senator openly stated that 'help is already on the way,' hinting at possible U.S. sanctions against the Iranian government.
Warning to the Iranian Government
'If you challenge [Trump], if you are one of those who remains in power and try to undermine his authority, what happened to Maduro will happen to you. But the day will come when the country will be ready for elections, free and fair, in which people who will be allies of the U.S. will be elected. The dictator, a thug, is in prison in New York,' Graham stressed.
Message to Protesters
Graham also addressed the 'people of Iran' and the protesters, stating that if the Iranian government continues to kill protesters, Trump will take decisive action.
'The ayatollahs must understand – if you continue to kill your people who are demanding a better life – Donald Trump will destroy you. There will be changes in Iran. These will be the most significant changes in the history of the Middle East – to rid of this Nazi regime. The people of Iran – help is already on the way,' the Republican senator stated.
It was also noted that Donald Trump, after Venezuela, is targeting other countries. According to Bild, the U.S. president, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, mentioned Colombia, Cuba, Greenland, Mexico, and Iran.
Responsible foreign policy and decisive U.S. actions in support of the protesters can significantly impact the future developments in Iran. Lindsey Graham emphasizes the importance of the U.S. position in supporting democratic values worldwide, which undoubtedly resonates with the protests occurring in Iran.
