Strong winds damaged anti-drone tunnels in Zaporizhzhia: restoration works ongoing.
According to ТСН: In Zaporizhzhia region, partial destruction of the foundations of anti-drone tunnels was found on some sections of the frontline roads due to strong gusts of wind.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that the damage occurred at several sections of road infrastructure in the frontline area. This concerns elements of the anti-drone tunnels used to protect logistics routes from aerial threats.
Response to the Situation
Fedorov also noted that the operation of these sections of anti-drone tunnels is ensured by the engineering units of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Additional forces and means from engineering units have already been involved to respond to this situation.
Restoration Works
Currently, work has begun on eliminating the consequences of the bad weather and restoring damaged structures.
It should be reminded that earlier it was reported that the restoration of networks in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions is ongoing after Russian attacks.
This situation highlights the importance of reliable infrastructure in conditions of military actions, as anti-drone tunnels contribute to the safety of logistics routes. The restoration works being carried out are an important step in ensuring the stability of the region amid constant challenges.
