Mobilization in Lviv Region: Son Left Disabled Father Without Care.
According to inkorr.com: In the village of Sasiv, located in the Zolochiv district of Lviv region, the territorial center of recruitment mobilized a man who was taking care of his bedridden father. Now the elderly man is left without the necessary care. This was reported by Glavcom with reference to hromadske.
As journalists note, Yosif Malitsky was left alone in his home as his only son was mobilized. This led to no one being able to care for him. A large farm that requires attention and care was also left unattended.
Problems with Documents
The office manager of the Zolochiv City Council, Vira Aleksandrovich, explained that the deferment from mobilization for the son lasted until August 6. However, due to the reorganization of the social protection department, the period was not extended, which caused problems. Volodymyr Malitsky is advised to resign from service to care for his disabled father and submit the necessary documents.
Future Plans
According to the draft resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine's activity program, an increase in mobilization and recruitment measures is planned for 2026. The government is to ensure the stable implementation of planned indicators, including increasing the recruitment of citizens of Ukraine for military service, as well as foreigners.
Thus, in the village of Sasiv, Zolochiv district of Lviv region, the family has remained without proper assistance due to the mobilization of the son who was taking care of the father. Problems arose due to the lack of extension of the deferment period, complicating the situation regarding the care of a person with a disability.
