Nova Poshta Office Destroyed in Dnipro Strike: 70 Rescuers Deployed to Scene.
Aftermath of Russian Strike in Dnipro
According to Novyny.live: Emergency crews are still working to clear the debris following a Russian attack on Dnipro on May 31. The strike completely destroyed a Nova Poshta branch office. Firefighters and police are on site, with a total of 70 rescuers and 40 officers involved. The blaze engulfed the terminal's warehouse and several vehicles parked on the premises.
This attack is part of a broader pattern of ongoing strikes across Ukraine. Just a day earlier, on May 30, Russian forces targeted a railway in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing a train driver. In a separate incident, a 58-year-old man died after a Russian drone strike in Chernihiv Oblast.
International Support and Security in Ukraine
In response to these events, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a statement:
'All these strikes must be stopped. What is needed is sufficient support for our defense and continued pressure on Russia. Our long-range sanctions, sanctions from partners, and all forms of political and economic pressure on Russia must work so that real security can be achieved. Only pressure will lead to peace.' Volodymyr Zelenskyy
These incidents highlight the ongoing escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, which continues to damage civilian infrastructure and endanger lives. Ukraine's efforts to secure international backing and tighten sanctions against Russia are seen as critical to stabilizing the region. Continued support from Western allies remains essential for strengthening the country's defenses and protecting its territorial integrity.
