Strikes on Kharkiv and the Surrounding Area
According to Espreso.tv: On June 28, Russian forces launched an attack on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, resulting in civilian casualties. The strike, believed to have been carried out using a Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher system, occurred around 6:35 PM in the Chuhuiv district. The assault claimed the life of a 54-year-old woman and left six adults, a 16-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old girl injured.
In a separate incident, a 55-year-old woman was killed during shelling in the Zmiiv community. The list of injured individuals includes:
- A 32-year-old woman
- A 28-year-old man
- A 53-year-old woman
- Men aged 41, 26, and 50
Additionally, a 10-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy sustained shrapnel wounds.
Broader Situation in Ukraine
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirmed that the enemy carried out a missile strike. Throughout the night, morning, and day of June 28, Russian forces also targeted Kyiv, Sumy, the Dnipro region, and Zaporizhzhia.
