According to Novyny.live: A drone strike by Russian forces targeted the Kharkiv Art Museum on June 14, leaving four people wounded, among them a one-month-old infant girl. Emergency teams are currently on site managing the aftermath of the assault. The impact triggered a significant fire that demanded an immediate response from firefighters.
In addition to the baby, the injured include women aged 34, 22, and 28. Medical staff report that the women are in stable condition and received treatment at the scene. The one-month-old was hospitalized for further care.
“All emergency services are working at the impact site. Cleanup operations are ongoing,” said Oleh Syniehubov.
Official Reactions
Mayor Ihor Terekhov addressed the incident, stressing the need to protect cultural heritage:
“These are treasures we must preserve. There is a risk that some exhibits could burn, or be flooded during firefighting efforts. That is why we had to evacuate them.”
