Strike with long-range weapons deep into Russia: Britain prepares offers for Ukraine.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the United Kingdom is developing its own proposals for strikes against Russia within President Volodymyr Zelensky's victory plan. He held a telephone conversation with the Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, Tony Radakin, during which they discussed the situation on the battlefield and the possibility of targeting Russian military facilities at operational and strategic depths.
Syrskyi drew the British side's attention to the violations of international humanitarian law and war crimes by Russian forces, as well as the indiscriminate massive bombings of civilian targets. Meanwhile, the priorities of cooperation remain the supply of military equipment and weapons, personnel training, and improving the effectiveness of high-tech means of engagement.
According to preliminary reports, the United Kingdom and the United States are approaching an agreement on allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons against targets on Russian territory. This is facilitated by the supply of Iranian missiles to Moscow. Notably, Storm Shadow missiles could potentially strike 261 targets on Russian territory if Ukraine were permitted to strike deep into Russian territory.
